How do I Create An Game Account?
After downloading the files from our downloads section, you create account by clicking on New Account inside the game client.
Beginner Zone
Press F1 and Read the News and any other topics that interest you.
Start off by killing a few Slime in the beginner zone, you will probably disconnect as you level up very fast, this is normal for here. just log back in, and keep killing slimes until you are lvl 350.
How do i chat with other players?
you talk with other players by typing various symbols before your messege
! = Red chat, this is called Global chat. it is visible to all players of both towns, including travellers
~ = Blue chat, this is called Ally chat or Town chat. it is visible to all players of your same allegience
$ = Yellow chat, this is called Party chat. it is visible only to players who are in your party
^ = Green chat, this is called Guild chat. it is visible only to members of your Guild
additionally you can type
/to ID = Gray chat, this is a private messege or whisper. only the 2 players involved can read it
to cancel whisper mode type /to
How do i set my hotkeys?
Note: make sure your F lock is off if your keyboard has one
1) first equip or cast the spell you want to hotkey
2) press and hold CTRL while pressing F2 or F3.
if you've done it right, you'll get a confirmation messege saying the item or spell is set to hotkey F2 or F3
Choosing A Town
From the starting spot if u follow the road, you find a split.
]Head left to join Aresden [worshippers of Aresien].
Head right to join Elvine. [worshippers of Eldiniel].
Whichever you choose, speak to the city hall officer, and request citizenship.
Next spend your stat points. this is coming of age for your character, you will decide to become a mage/warrior/battle-mage (mix of mage and warrior)
Warriors Need:

Mages Need:
500+ MAG
450+ INT450 good enough for dmg spells and cancel 500 for cotg and sotg.
Battle-Mages Need:

Stats
What are these stats and what do they do?
STR is Strength. for each 1 point of strength you recieve 2 HP. for each 10 points of strength u recieve 1% bonus physical damage. (normal servers this is 2% per 10 str) STR x2 also contributes to the MAX LOAD of your character (maximum weight). each weapon has its own STR requirement. Each type of armor and Shield has its own Requirement. 30 str for Chainmail, 40 str for tower shield, 100 str for platemail, 160 strength for Horned helmets. 300 for elite plate, 250 for icy/arena/majestic, 200 for elite wings, 300 for elite horns.
DEX is Dexterity. each 1 point of DEX adds 2 points to your Defense Ratio. each 1 point of DEX over 50 adds to physical attack probability (hp%)
VIT is Vitality. Each 1 point of VIT adds 4 HP. each 100 VIT adds 1% to your overall Physical Absorb. 1/2 your VIT is your minimum Hit Point Recovery, your maximum Hit Point Recovery(HPrec%) is equal to your VIT. Stamina also recovers based on your VIT. although i am not sure of exact values.
INT is Intelligence. Each 2 points of INT adds 1 MP. each 1 point of INT above 50 also adds to ALL Magic Circle's Casting Probability. Each spell has its own INT requirement to learn. Several in game Items also require a certain amount of Intelligence to use.
MAG is Magic. Each 1 point of MAG adds 1 HP. Each 1 point of MAG adds 3 MP. each 1 point of MAG above 50 adds 1 to Magical Hitting Probability(HP%). each 1 point of MAG above adds 2 to Magic Resistance(MR%)
CHR is Charisma. items Purchased in shop will recieve a discount based on your CHR, maximum Effect is 200 CHR (50% reduction). on Most servers u need 20 CHR to form a guild. this is not necessary on Rebirth. this stat will soon be changed to AGI (Agility) this will be required for traps and archers
Equipment
I suggest that you cast "Create Treasure" for money to buy your gear, or ask someone to help you if you're a pure warrior without int.
Mages = Buy the Master staff
Warriors= Buy the Master Hammer [PvM Weapon] / Master Sword [PvP Weapon]
Bmages = Buy the Master Sword + Master staff[ + Master BattleStaff/i]
Upgrading your Equipment
Look in your Inventory Bag, you will see a little button called "UPGRADE".
Drag and Drop your Item from Above and Click Upgrade.
Continue to Upgrade your Weapon/staff until they are +15.
If you run out of majestic points keep hunting Slimes.(pit is in the top part of town maps)
Getting Critical Attacks
You can find Critical potions on ALL monsters. each one gives you 250 crits. you can also sell these to players for Sphere Points. 50 Majestics can also be exchanged for 500 criticals by typing /getcrits (this potion also can be sold for points)
Raiding the Enemy Town
Speak to the City Hall Officer and teleport to enemy town.
Getting Sphere Points and Items
I Suggest you sell your /rep+ other players for items and sphere points, until u are strong enough to do so on your own. Hellclaw pit is located at Promiseland map, they drop between 0 and 5 points.
Getting to Promiseland
Inside your City hall, you will notice a spot on the right below the "guild hall officer". this is the Teleport to Promiseland.
Finding the Hellclaw
In the middle of Promiseland you will Find Hellclaw.
In the lower left side of Field of Shattered Dreams you will find Hellclaw.
OK I got Spheres, now what?
Double click your Spheres to eat them.
Pressing F5 u can see your Sphere Points.
Trading my Sphere Points with Players
You type in the command to get the color Sphere you want:
/blueball = 1 point
/greenball = 2 points
/redball = 3 points
/pearlball = 4 points

Using the Sphere-Trade
First make sure you've eaten enough points.(double click the spheres to eat them)
Its not enough to have them in your bag

Angels
Angels are buyable from the sphere trade in city hall.
You can upgrade these to a maximum of +10
Angel of Smiting = Adds base physical damage
+10 = +40 Base Physical Damage
Angel of Sorcery = Adds Magical damage
+10 = +33 magical damage
Angel of Healing = Adds to your Max HP and Minor base Physical Damage
+10 = +1000 Max HP & +10 Base Physical Damage
Angel of Precision = Adds to Physical Hitting probability
+10 = +150 Hitting (physical not magical)
Angel of Corruption = -1000 Reputation While Worn
Necklaces
On the sphere trade list u will notice Necklaces of Protection.
they will give you 25% Absorbtion to the [Element]
Rings
On the sphere trade list u will see 2 Rings.
When their Endurance hits 0. they are destroyed.
they can be repaired at the shopkeeper before they are destroyed.
Ruby Ring = 10% ma vs ALL Elements
Emerald Ring = 20% ma vs ALL Elements
Damage Rings
Ring of Wizard = +10 magic
Ring of Mage = +20 magic
Ring of Grand Mage = +30 magic

Ring of Ogre Power = +20 physical
Ring of Demon Power = +40 physical

Hunger Status
Periodically you will see these messages
"You are Hungry..." this means you need to eat some food or your will remain hungry
"You are Very Hungry..." this means you need to eat some food soon or else
"You are Starving!" this means you need to eat some food or you wont regenerate any HP/MP/SP
"You are Starving to Death!!!" you will not regenerate any HP/MP/SP and have 10% chance to fail any magic.
Eating more food Food will remove these conditions, for a maximum of 100minutes
Magical Absorption Armor
Magical Absorbtion armor has been changed into more specific purpose, each piece that u wear of the same type stacks up and adds to your total % for that element. maximum value is 100% for each element. at 100% you take 0 dmg by that element.
Fire = protects you from fire based magic(Flames)
Earth = protects you from earth based magic(Nature)
Air = protects you from air basd magic(Winds)
Water = protects you from water based magic(Ocean)
Holy = protects you from holy based magic(Gods)
Unholy = protects you from unholy based magic(Corruption)
Unattuned = This means this armor Requires Attunement.
You can buy ANY Basic Elemental Attunement potion from Sphere-Trade(for 50 points) and apply it to this armor or shield.
Until it is attuned it protects you from nothing.
All About Reputation
You can check your reputation by typing /checkrep
All Characters start with a neutral reputation 0
Maximum Reputation is +10000 and the lowest reputation is -10000
on this server, reputation does not have any effect on rare drops.
on many other servers, it does.
You can give other players an evaluation once every 60minutes [3600 seconds.]
to give a Positive evalution type in
/rep+ ID
to give a negative evaluation type in
/rep- ID
by killing your own townsmen you will become a criminal and lose 10 reputation (-10)
Reputation has an effect on 2 types of weapons
Righteous
you get a +1 bonus base damage per +100 reputation above your enemy max +5
Kloness
you get a +1 bonus base damage bonus per +100 reputation to the limit of 10000 reputation points.
Reputation also affects the following Magic:
Bloody-Shock-Wave
this UNHOLY Spell requires -250 Reputation to Cast.
Vampiric Gaze
this UNHOLY Spell requires -2000 Reputation to Cast.
Strike Of The Ghosts
this UNHOLY Spell requires -5000 Reputation to Cast.
Hero Armor
By killing the Enemy Players u earn Enemy Kill points [EK]
One Kill is worth 5 points.
Hero Cape is 300 EK, and it bears your town symbol. other than being patriotic, it has no benefits:( You can Upgrade your Hero Cape using a Merien Stone +30 EKs and turning it into a Combatant Hero Cape. ((Note: you must relog while wearing the cape for the sprite to change))
EK's can be Exchanged for Hero Equipment, which u cannot lose by dying.
The Hero Mage Set consists of the Following Pieces, and Requires 20 Str to wear
Cap = Cost 100 EK
Robe = Cost 200 EK
Hauberk = Cost 100 EK
Leggings = Cost 150 EK
Benefits of wearing Full set:
+200 Magical Attack Probability (hitting %)
+50 Magical Damage per hit
+175 Magic Resistance
The Hero Warrior Set consists of the Following Pieces, and Requires 100 Str to wear
Helm = Cost 150 EK

Gladiator's Arena
Speak to NPC Gail at City hall to Teleport to the Arena.
The Cost is 3 Sphere Points.
If u die u will not drop any items, nor will u lose anything.
If u choose to Continue u will respawn randomly in the arena.
If u choose No, u will return to City Hall.
Here all Arena Kills will give 1 Ek Count.
25 Kill Count will Earn you 1 Gladiator Title Point.
the title for gladiator goes as follows

Basic Guide to Equipment
Prefix stats
Strong = item has increased Endurance. [Weapon / Armor / Shields]
Agile = Weapon requires 13 less Str to attain 'full swing speed' [Weapon]
Righteous = increased damage with higher Reputation. see All bout reputation above.[Weapon]
Sharp = Weapons Damage dice increases by +1 example 2d10 ------> 2d11[Weapon]
Ancient = Weapons Damage dice increases by +2 example 2d10 ------> 2d12[Weapon]
Vampiric = Weapon will give you some HP on each hit.[Weapon]
Light = weight of the item is decreased by the percentage shown. meaning lower strength can equip[Weapon / Armor / Shields]
Critical increase = this increases the chance of crit recovery when you take damage (base % is 10)[Armor / Shields]
Mana Converting = this gives you MP when u receive magical damage based on the % (base % is 0)[Armor / Shields]
Critical = This adds to the weapons damage on critical attacks (after all bonuses).[Weapon]
Magic Casting Probability = increases the probability of successful magic casting [staff]
Poison = This weapon can poison targets and they will take dmg over time [Weapon]
Suffix stats
poison resistance = this increases your chance to resist and recover from being poisoned[Armor / Shields]
Hitting Probability = this increases your base chance to strike ur foe with magic or physical [Weapon / staff]
Consecutive Attack Damage = increases the damage when u strike ur foe multiple times in a row [Weapon / staff]
Defense Ratio = Increases your overall defense ratio used to avoid being hit by physical attacks. this means u are less likely to be hit both by monsters and players. often worn by warriors in warrior vs warrior duels[Armor / Shields]
Magic Resistance = Increases your overall defense vs magic. does not reduce damage, but makes you less likely to be hit by magical attacks both from monsters and players. often worn by mages in mage vs mage duels[Armor / Shields]
Hit Point Recovery = this improves the amount of health you regenerate as a percentage based on your VIT.[Armor / Shields] Health+ = this improves your maximum health by the amount shown.[Armor / Shields]
Mana point Recovery = this improves the maximum (not minimum)amount of MP you regenerate as a percentage based on your MAG.[Armor / Shields] Stamina Point Recovery = this improves the amount of Stamina you regenerate as a percentage based on VIT.[Armor / Shields]
Physical Absorbtion = this adds to the inherent base absorb of the armor. unlike other armors this does not work as a set where normally multiple pieces add up for increased effect. PA armor reduces the amount of damage, by adding to the base absorb on the individual piece. maximum reduction is 80% [Armor / Shields]
Magical Absorbtion = This reduces the amount of damage taken by magic. see all about MA above [Armor / Shields]
Gold+ = this increased the amount of Gold dropped by mobs [Weapon / staff]
Exp+ = this increases the amount of Experience earned when u kill [Weapon / staff]
NOTE: Armor means all equippable armor locations including boots and capes [although pa does not function on capes as capes are not hit locations

What can i do with Ancient Pieces of Stone
By Collecting the 4 Different pieces

once u have all 4 pieces you put them in your bag, and double click one of the pieces.
it will open a puzzle box u drag and drop all 4 pieces into the box and click the little button
if u fail the pieces break and u get nothing.
if you are successful you will make an ancient slate of prophecy
the type of effect depends on the color.
each one lasts 10minutes
Green = Experience slate (+1 majestic) (+2 majestic with Majestic set)
Red = HP slate (Infinite HP)
Pink = MP slate (Infinite MP)
Yellow = Berserk slate (Berserk effect)
Blending Wands
Lesser Blending staffs have +15% bonus damage
Greater Blending staffs have +20% bonus damage
this damage bonus applies regardless of what spell is used
first i'll explain the Lesser Blending Effect.
Steam - This is a mixture of [Fire] and [Water].

Battle Staff
You can purchase 2 of these on the Sphere Trader in City Hall.
these new items are 2 handed staffs that shoot magic when u attack depending on the Type, you can also use them like a normal staff to cast spells also.
they have considerable long range (same as storm bringer)
each time you attack your MP reduces.
if you use a critical, the dmg is increased as well.
there is a special upgrade available by donation 50$ usd that causes the staff to shoot triple(over an area)
2nd and 3rd strikes have reduced damage if they strike the same target
they require the following stats to use:
master = 150+ str 150+ int 100+mag
fire/air/ice
STR 250+
INT 250+
MAG 135+
Fire = this shoots fire magical damage
Air = this shoots air magical damage
Ice = this shoots water magical damage (Ice requires 300 str)
currently they do not pierce PFM.
Meteor = 300 str 250 int 250mag
Meteor = this shoots fire magical damage
This does pierce pfm (1/2 dmg)
Unique Sets
We have added new sets to the Sphere-Trade.
Statted versions will drop from mobs
for the full effect of these sets to be seen u must wear a full set
Warrior set consists of
Plate + Horns + Hauberk + Legging
Mage set consists of
Chain + Hat + Hauberk + Legging
Icy set = Weapons that strike you will Freeze your attacker for 4 seconds
Arena Set = +1 EK in gladiator arena
Majestic Set = +1 Majestic (gain 2 instead of 1) NOTE: can be combined with XP slate for 3 majestics)
New Defense Ratio & Magic Resistance armors & hitting probability
normally they are in increments of 7 ranging from 21 to 91.
we have increased their value to be increments of 28, from 84 to 364(basically 4x higher)
this was done to reflect the higher stat line of both mages and warriors.
Mining
mining is a title skill to obtain ores from mining rocks located in DoD and Abby Lair
DoD has 24 mine rocks with no Crystal
Abby Lair has 12 mine rocks with Crystal
title x 3% = mining success (minimum 3% maximum 100%)
the title has 25 levels so max is 75% from skill and +25% from pickaxe
pickaxes also affect your mining success
+5 = gladiator available for gold in bsmith/shop
+10 = knight 1000 sphere points on sphere trade
+15 = legion 4000 sphere points on sphere trade
+20 = master 7500 sphere points on sphere trade
+25 = elite a rare drop 1 in 10k on gargoyle and tigerworm
different ores are obtained from mining. they will be used in future updates

to open the "trap configuration" most commonly used for "magic traps"
press CTRL + Q
to set a magic trap, u CONFIGURE it first, then u set it as normal.
